The Florida State Poetry Association’s monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, November 21, 6:30 p.m.in the Community Room of the Maitland Public Library, 501 N. Maitland Avenue, Maitland. FL 32751, 407-647-7700. The Orlando Area Chapter was founded by Elaine Person in 2013. This is the first time the Orlando area has had a chapter. FSPA was founded in 1974 in Volusia County. Elaine Person will hold a free poetry writing workshop this Sunday, November 24th at 3:00 p.m. at the Maitland Public Library. 407-647-7700.
