Sounds of the Soul: Rajeev Taranath

The Orlando Museum of Art will host Rajeev Taranath live in concert on May 10th at 8 p.m. Taranath is joined by Aditya Banerjee on percussion. The pair will perform a classic Indian duet. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $19.95.

Rajeev Taranath has spent a lifetime developing his command of the sarod , a traditional North Indian lute that has a distinctive and sweet metallic sound. For over seven decades, he’s performed for diverse audiences as a Ford Foundation Scholar and ambassador of Indian culture.
