Bello Da Moire

Tim Rumsey explains Bello Da Moire (Beautiful to Die For):

At some point in life, most of us have had an experience the Italians call bello da moire – an aesthetic/emotional/spiritual experience so beautiful and fulfilling, it seems “perfect,” as if we and the world couldn’t be or get any better.  We feel like, “I’ve arrived,” or “this is it.” Paradoxically, it triggers a thought, “I could die now and all would be well.”  This isn’t a depressing idea, but one that fills us with deep joy, ecstasy.”

Rumsey invites you to share a Bello Da Moire poem, story, song, or piece that tries to convey the essence of this peak “in the zone” moment.

Each performer has 10 minutes max of stage time to do one poem, song, or story.

When:  Saturday, March 14 (doors at 6, performances at 7 p.m.)

Where: The Indigo Room, 2080 Vine Street, Orlando, FL 32806

RSVP: Email Tim Rumsey at or call at 321-279-2717
