Al Pergande

“You’ve written a great short story. Transform it into a great play,” says Al Pergande, playwright, critic, and speaker at the February 2018 Orlando FWA meeting held at the University Club in Winter Park on Wednesday, February 7th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Pergande will discuss 1) how plays differ from Short Stories and other literary forms, 2) the internal structural elements of a play – the Character Wheel, The Hero’s Journey, and Theatricality, and 3) how to format professionally and submit successfully. According to Pergande, “Theater – it looks so easy until you try it.” So, give it a try. The meeting is free and open to the public. Contact Rik Feeney at for more information.
