Darlyn Finch Kuhn was the Winter 2006/2007 writer-in-residence at the Kerouac House. A poet known for her saucy style and engaging readings, she is also a gifted storyteller, and the author of Red Wax Rose and co-author of Three Houses. Her work has appeared in literary journals, newspapers, magazines and online. Her poems have been featured on NPR and on World Radio Paris. She is the eponymous “Scribbler,” author of the Scribbles literary newsletter. She holds an English degree from Rollins College and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Spalding University. Her novel, Sewing Holes, was published in March, 2015 from Twisted Road Publications. In October, 2015, it won First Place at the Royal Palm Literary Awards (Novella Category).
