Niveah Glover to Read in Student Showcase

Niveah Glover is a poet, playwright, and Jax native. Her imagination and understanding of the world around her create pieces that are expressive, thought-provoking, and personal. She’s been Jacksonville Youth Poet Laureate, one of Folio Weekly’s 18 under 18, and a YoungArts winner. She’s working on a new play, Callas. She lives by James Baldwin’s quote, “You write in order to change the world. If you alter, even by a millimeter, the way people look at reality, then you can change it.”

Niveah will read in the Student Showcase at 3 PM on Saturday, December 1st in the Main Auditorium F-128.

JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival X, a celebration of Jacksonville Writers Writing Jacksonville, will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 1, 2, and 3, 2023 at FSCJ’s Kent Campus, 3939 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32205.
