JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival is thrilled to host our After-Party from 6:30-8:30 on Saturday, October 13th at Yellow House Art, 577 King Street (at King and Phyllis Streets). The inimitable Hope McMath has created a cozy home for art exhibits that delight and entertain while raising social awareness. The latest, “Suffrage,” (which opened on October 9th, and runs through November 10th) encourages us to get out the vote.
Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude for the folks of Yellow House Art.
The party will include:
Light refreshments
Authors meet-and-greet fans
Flash Fiction readings by Bridge Eight Press
Music by Cementville
We hope to see y’all there!

The home of the JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival is its dozen venues in the heart of Riverside/Avondale, and we are extremely grateful for each and every one. Thank you!
Managed by Matt Schulman, Keg & Coin: A Beer 30 Arcade is a tap room and arcade featuring video games, pinball machines, music and television clips from the 80s and 90s.

Jared Rypkema and Caleb Michael Sarvis are the dynamic duo of Bridge Eight Press, the masterminds behinds the soon-to-be-released anthology, 15 Views of Jacksonville: Short Stories from a Bold City. JaxbyJax is so pleased to partner with them this year to bring you a smorgasboard of local writers to enjoy.
Bridge Eight is hosting a Flash Reading at 7:30 PM at the After-Party at Yellow House for the JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival, so come out and hear Ashley Kemker, Fred Dale, James Hunter, Johnny Masiulewicz, Keri Foster, Maxwell Devo, Tiffany Melanson, and Yvette Angelique dazzle us for three minutes each.
