Philip F. Deaver Memorial Page at Burrow Press Website

Forty-Martyrs

Philip F. Deaver’s last collection, Forty Martyrs, was published in 2015 by Burrow Press, and they have asked your Scribbler to request submissions for a memorial page to be developed at burrowpress.com.  For many of us, Phil was a beloved teacher, mentor, and friend. Burrow Press would like short lines of remembrance about how he influenced or impacted you as a writer. Send your thoughts to ryan@burrowpress.com.

Please share this request with friends, fans, and students of Phil.

How Supporting Other Writers Can Benefit an Author

scribbles_color-logo

The final segment of my three-part interview with the Author Learning Center concerns supporting other writers in every way we can – attending readings, buying books, writing book reviews, etc. – before ever asking anyone to do those things for you.

Scribbles is the main way I try to help other writers and artists, in addition to those mentioned above. If you want to learn more, sign up, or tell me about a publication or event, click here.  It’s free, and I will never sell the list. Information about your readings, publications, and events will post on the Scribbles website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and will also go out to lovers of art and literature at 3 p.m. via my daily enewsletter.

If you sign up for Scribbles and have a website of your own, you can send me the link and become a Notable Scribbler on the Scribbles website.

Please check it out, and spread the word.
