Rik Feeney wants you to know that the Orlando Writers Critique will meet in a new location.

The Orlando Writers Critique Group has moved from the Denny’s in Casselberry to the Winter Park Public Library. They will meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Winter Park Public Library (3^rd floor – Melanson Room) on the corner of New England Avenue and Aloma (426) in Winter Park.

If you would like to read, please bring 500-words of your writing, and extra copies if you would like feedback. You get 4 to 5 minutes to read, then 4 to 5 minutes of suggestions and comments on your work from other writers.

Come out to the Winter Park Library from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, April 18th for the New Works series, featuring Philip F. Deaver.  You don’t have to pay Rollins tuition to learn from a writing master; just show up at your local library to see how it’s done.

In this workshop, led by Orlando artist Ramona Louise, we’ll get crazy with glue, paint, papers, pens and natural elements to create our own personal book-cover art. It’s four hours of color-splash joy! Bring your creative spirit — we’ll provide everything else you need to layer simple materials into the beginnings of artful dreams.
