The third book in Leslie Halpern’s Funny Children’s Poems series has just been released by Cricket Cottage Publishing. Frogs, Hogs, Puppy Dogs joins the other two books in the series, Rub, Scrub, Clean the Tub and Shakes, Cakes, Frosted Flakes. Intended for early readers (ages 5-9), the poems are written from a child’s perspective and include whimsical illustrations by Oral Nussbaum.

A new poetry collection by Richard Frost, Mephisto’s Flea Song, will be published in September, 2014, by Marick Press. Frost, of Winter Park, has three previous poetry collections, the last one with Sarabande Books.

Carol Frost’s latest, Entwined: Three Lyric Sequences, just came out from Tupelo Press.
