JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival is pleased to welcome Sean T. Smith to read with us on Saturday, November 16th. Here is a link to the schedule of events.
Sean is a thriller writer liing with his wife and kids in Murray Hill. He has written four published novels, numerous short stories, a video game, and articles for Folio Weekly. His post-apocalyptic trilogy, beginning with Objects of Wrath, is in development for television, signed to Council Tree Productions.
Ma Bones is a local Jacksonville educator and writer. Along with Nick Dunkenstein, she is the founder of “DeadSteins,” a group which offers free workshops and programming to the writing community at large.
DeadSteins’ first illustrated poetry book will be released in time for Jax by Jax. Hear Ma Bones read from it on Saturday, November 16th.

Laura Hoffman is a United States Marine Corps Veteran with a B.A in English from The University of North Florida. Hoffman is currently attending The University of Tampa’s MFA in Creative Writing Program. Her most recent work is forthcoming or appears in: 2River, Bop Dead City, Enizagam, Not Very Quiet, Waxing & Waning, Clear Poetry, Penultimate Peanut, The Bangalore Review, The Gyroscope Review,The Ibis Head Review, Chaleur Magazine, The Write Launch, Atomic Style Society Magazine, Left Hooks, Flypaper Magazine, Night Picnic Press, and Noir Nation. Hoffman is also the winner of The 2018 Wainright Award for Poetry.
