How Supporting Other Writers Can Benefit an Author

scribbles_color-logo

The final segment of my three-part interview with the Author Learning Center concerns supporting other writers in every way we can – attending readings, buying books, writing book reviews, etc. – before ever asking anyone to do those things for you.

Scribbles is the main way I try to help other writers and artists, in addition to those mentioned above. If you want to learn more, sign up, or tell me about a publication or event, click here.  It’s free, and I will never sell the list. Information about your readings, publications, and events will post on the Scribbles website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and will also go out to lovers of art and literature at 3 p.m. via my daily enewsletter.

If you sign up for Scribbles and have a website of your own, you can send me the link and become a Notable Scribbler on the Scribbles website.

Please check it out, and spread the word.

Your Scribbler was pleased to sit for an interview with the Author Learning Center, which has posted a portion of the interview on the homepage of their website.  You can view Pros and Cons of Working with a Small Independent Publisher here.

Over the next two days, I’ll post two other short portions of the interview: Darlyn Finch Kuhn on How Personal Experiences Influenced Her Book, Sewing Holes, and How Supporting Other Writers Can Benefit an Author.
