Basics of Writing Well Workshop

WritingYourLife-Banner-new-1

What does it mean to write well? Are there tried and true ways to improve your prose, no matter what type of writing you do? You bet! Patricia Charpetier will delve in and answer those questions in her two-part workshop, Basics of Writing Well, Saturday, June 9, 2018, on the shores of beautiful Lake Fairview near College Park (32804) in Orlando. (Exact address provided at registration.)

Join Patricia for the morning session from 9:00 a.m.-noon when you’ll discuss what makes for effective and vivid writing–specificity, strong verbs, sensual writing, and much more. From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., she’ll give you the opportunity to write with her. You receive prompts designed to trigger memories you might not otherwise have thought to write about. Then, she’ll ask for volunteers to share what they’ve written. The group will applaud wildly and go on to the next prompt, and you leave with the beginnings of eight or more stories.

Cost for either the morning or afternoon session is $69, or attend both with a delicious lunch included for just $119.
