Self-publishing provides an amazing opportunity for authors to take control of their own publishing career. It sounds easy—write a great book and sell it directly to readers. But are you prepared to take on the role of a publisher? Author Aria Kane will help authors determine if self-publishing is a viable choice for them and jump start their understanding of the publishing process.

Writer’s Block: Children’s Corner

This August, join Writer’s Block Bookstore every Friday and Saturday at 10:00 am for Children’s Story Time with special themes that will be fun for the entire family. Different activities are planned for each week.

On Friday mornings, the store will host guest storytellers, authors, art projects, music, dress up and other fun themes. Here are some of the big events scheduled for Writer’s Block this August:
