Meet Boris Fishman and John King at The Gallery at Avalon Island

Boris Fishman

Saturday, January 24th, 7-9 p.m.

The Gallery at Avalon Island | 39 S. Magnolia Ave., Orlando, FL

Boris Fishman will read from his debut novel, A Replacement Life, published in 2014 by Harper’s. A Replacement Life has been positively reviewed by The New York Times, NPR, The Guardian, Newsweek, and many other publications.

John King, the host of the writing podcast The Drunken Odyssey with John King, will read seven poems before Boris Fishman. John King’s verse has appeared in Gargoyle and Palooka. He earned his MFA from New York University in 2010.
