The Winter Park Public Library will host its’ Spoiler Alert series on May 19th at 7 p.m. Teens and adults gather to discuss either a book the entire group has read, or each member chooses to read a different book from an exclusive collection of preview copies of teen books. Booked On Tuesday
The Winter Park Public Library will host “Booked on Tuesday: Monuments Men by Robert Edsel” on May 27th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This group of book enthusiasts meets once a month to discuss a new book of choice. CFC Arts Presents “Welcome to the 60’s”
Central Florida Community Arts will perform “Welcome to the 60’s” at Northland, A Church Distributed on May 15th and May 16th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will cost $10.
“Welcome to the ‘60’s” is a joint venture of CFCArts’ 250-voice Community Choir, members of their Community Orchestra and the CFCArts’ Dance Team. “Welcome to the ‘60’s” is not just another jukebox musical revue. Bring your tribe out to Northland to commune in a groovy night of nostalgic music that will recap the events that revolutionized a decade.

Great Gatsby Ball
The Orlando Chapter of USA Dance will bring “The Great Gatsby Ball” to Bahia Shrine Center on May 16th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, and all are welcome to attend. This ballroom dance party will start with a Charleston lesson at 7:30 p.m., followed by a night of social ballroom dancing until 11 p.m. The event will feature guest performances by Harmony High School Dance Team and Sovereign Stars Dance Team.
