Over the River and Through the Woods

Nick, a nice, single guy, has dinner every Sunday with his four Italian grandparents.  When he tells them he is moving to the west coast for a job in Seattle, they scheme to foil his plans.  An endearing story with lots of laughs — it may even cause a lump in the throat.

“Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits”

Winter Park Playhouse will host “Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits” from April 25th through May 17th. Ticket prices range from $25-$38.

“The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?”

The John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center will host the play “The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?” from April 18th through May 3rd at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 with a discount available for seniors and students.

“The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?” explores the extremes of human tolerance and taboo in what has been called the “blackest of comedies and most blistering of tragedies.” What happens when a perfect, balanced and loving marriage and home is rocked by a new unconventional and impossible to understand love?
