You don’t need to be a Dickens expert to play. First Tuesday of each month, beginning at 7 p.m. this Tuesday, at Stardust Video and Café, 1842 Winter Park Road, Orlando. According to the Orlando Sentinel, it costs $10 per table/team to participate, with half the proceeds going to the winning team. The other half will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Other charities will benefit in the future.

What the Dickens Film Festival
As covered by the Orlando Sentinel, screenings at Orlando Public Library, 101 E. Central Blvd.; “Tale of Two Cities,” 5:30 p.m. Jan. 13; “Great Expectations,” 5:30 p.m. Jan. 27. Vivi Barnes, author of “Olivia Twisted,” a Dickens takeoff, will speak at 2 p.m. Saturday on the author’s influence. All programs are free.
“Dickens Characters by Jason Hunt”
As reported by the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando artist Jason Hunt sketches Dickens characters as he imagined them in his childhood. At the Orange County Administration Center, 201 S. Rosalind Ave. through January 31. Free.
