Peggy, the author of Florida’s Edible Wild Plants, Young Naturalist’s Guide to Florida, and The Florida Water Story, will be sharing her 50+ years of experience with foraging wild plants and edibles in our state’s natural environment. How Writers Become Authors

Every Thursday in June and July starting on June 18, from 7pm-8:30pm, the Winter Park Public Library (460E New England Ave, Winter Park) will have a writing workshop in the third-floor meeting room. This six-week workshop will provide essential tools for putting ideas to paper, revising, and polishing your work. You’ll analyze the sentence style of leading authors, practice various sentence patterns, write short narrative and descriptive pieces, and learn tips on editing and getting published.
