When Terry Odell first came to a meeting of the Pregnant Pigs writing group, which she’d heard about while teaching at the Adult Literacy League with fellow Piggy Katherine Vaccaro, she insisted she wasn’t much of a writer. In fact, she’d only written some fan fiction about her favorite television show, The Highlander, because the star of the show was hot, and it was a bonding experience with her son, who had told her about the show.
As a testament to what the encouragement of other writers can do (and with a lot of dedication and hard work from someone who finds out in mid-life that writing is her passion), Terry Odell is now an award-winning author of romantic mysteries. Not just one or two romantic mysteries, mind you. Three SERIES of romantic mysteries.
We kept inviting her back, just to get to critique her sex scenes. Speaking of hot! It was a real bonus that the mysteries were good, too.
Check her work out. You’ll be glad you did.
Here’s what Terry says about Sewing Holes:
“Sewing Holes is a delightful debut novel that hits all the emotions. Highly recommended.”
