Tim Rumsey will host a storytelling night at Café Divina on Thursday, June 19th from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Storytellers will have up to 10 minutes to share their chilling stories with the audience. Frank Masi’s story “Shadows of War” was accepted into the FWA’s latest collection. He came in second place in the Poetry Ensemble of Orlando’s annual contest and was asked to read at the Swann/Gwendolyn Brooks reception on June 7th. Robert Ross, an Orlando-based painter will display his urban-themed oil paintings from June 6th through August 9th at the Crealde School of Art’s Showalter Hughes Community Gallery in Winter Park. The gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibit on Friday, June 6th at 6 p.m. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
