The Orlando Repertory Theatre will debut the play “Freckleface Strawberry” on April 17^th. The play will run until May 25^th and wraps up the theatre’s season.

Freckleface Strawberry will do anything to get rid of her freckles – from scrubbing them with soap, to caking on makeup, and even wearing a ski mask to school! With the help of her lovable schoolmates including an amazingly talented ballerina, a cutie jock, a charming ditz, and a totally kooky teacher, Freckleface learns that everyone is different – and that’s what makes everyone special!

Alice Friedman and Al Rocheleau will speak at the Florida Writers Association Maitland group’s meeting this Thursday, April 10th at 6:30 p.m at the Maitland Public Library. The Orlando Science Center will host a gala from 6-9:30 p.m. on April 16^th. The gala will feature author Stuart Woods discussing his award winning work, food and wine samplings and a silent auction.
