Ana Vidovic Concert

Ana Vidovic will host a free concert on February 17th at 7:30 p.m. at Valencia College’s Performing Arts Center.

Vidovic is a former child prodigy who has performed internationally since age 11. At age 13, she became the youngest student to attend the prestigious Academy of Music in Zagreb, Croatia. Her reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. She has released six CDs and two DVDs. Vidovic has won numerous prizes and international competitions.

Julie Compton Hosts Creative Writing Workshop in Daytona Shores

Julie Compton will begin a ten-week long creative writing workshop on March 11th. The workshop, open to eight participants, will meet every Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Each week, the writers will respond to prompts and read their work aloud for group feedback. Julie will critique each writer’s manuscript during the ten-week session and have individual meetings with each writer. The participation fee for the workshop is $395. Kindle Publishing Seminar

On Saturday, February 15th starting at 8:30 a.m., publishing experts Rik Feeney, Michael Ray King, Nancy Quatrano, and Ben Hale will show any writer how they can publish successful ebooks on the Amazon Kindle and make money at it.
