Don’t be sad; it ain’t over yet! As if the past two days weren’t grand enough, The JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival caps off its 10th Anniversary Celebration TODAY, Sunday, December 3rd from noon until 3 PM with NINE writing workshops to choose from. Check out the poster above for details. NOTE: A few of the presenters decided to stagger their starting times so you’ll get TWO workshops in instead of just one. So come at noon and see what’s going on. You know you want to!
Friday evening, December 1, the festival kicks off at 6 p.m. with a reading by Nathaniel Glover from his book Striving for Justice: A Black Sheriff in the Deep South. The reading will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by Erica Saffer, then book sales by San Marco Books & More and book signings by the author.
At 7:30 p.m. Willie Evans, Jr. will present The Brown Wonder, a multi-media presentation followed by a Q&A session moderated by Arsun F!st and Still Water, then enjoyment of its interactive cultural installation.
