Yoga in the Garden

LifeArt Studio presents: Yoga in the Garden at the residential gardens created and curated by Marylou Gantner on Saturday, October 24th, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  $45.00  Directions to the garden in Winter Park, FL provided with your registration.

This unique experience will begin with a walking meditation, then instructors Lezlie Laws and Linda von Wolfersdorf will lead an energiing outdoor astanga yoga practice.

Scientific Relaxation Specialist Marylou Gantner will lead a progressive relaxation exercise, and Kristin Dolphy, culinary artist of Black Dog Café and Catering will serve delicious, nutritious smoothies.

Great Book Titles: Make Them Marketable and Memorable

Join us Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 pm to hear author and publishing consultant Rik Feeney discuss the best ways to create a book title that is both marketable and memorable. Feeney says, “The outside of the book sells the inside, and your title may be responsible for 50% or more of your books success!”

From I-4 East or West, take the Lee Road exit and head East toward the Atlantic Ocean. Lee Road will dead end at 17-92 (Orlando Ave.) where you will make a right turn, then get immediately into the left turn lane to make a left on Webster. Follow Webster through a light at Denning, then another light at the railroad tracks, then you will come to a stop sign, actually stop, then before the next stop sign (which is Park Ave) you will turn left into the University Club. Park your car in the grass, then walk up the ramp to the side door. Enter and keep going to your left inside to the library where we hold the meeting.

“Live It” Launches

Come out to David’s World Cycle in the early evening on Oct. 15 to celebrate the launch of Mount Dora author Tracy Draper’s debut book Live It: Riding the Highs and Lows of a Cross Country Dream, published by Fifth Estate Media LLC.

Tracy and long-time Central Florida cyclist Paul Ricci will read short excerpts of the book, which tells of a cross-country cycling adventure, and much more.

Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments, get books signed, and participate in a free raffle for a gift-basket. Guests may also pledge that they will undertake a challenge in honor of someone going through a difficult time, which is the essence of Live It.
