Bop to Pop

The Sanford Jazz Ensemble will bring “Bop to Pop” to the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center on March 23rd at 3 p.m. General Admission tickets will be $10.00.

The Sanford Jazz Ensemble is a community orchestra made up of a diverse group of excellent musicians, dedicated to the Preservation of the Big Band Jazz Tradition.

The band was originally formed in 1976 by saxophonist, composer and arranger, Mike Arena and was known as the Altamonte Jazz Ensemble.

Punch and Judy Puppet Show

Pinocchio’s Marionette Theatre will host the Punch and Judy Puppet show from March 19 through March 21. The show will be held at 4:30 p.m. and a $5 donation is recommended.

Classic British hand puppet show like those loved by Dickens and featured in The Old Curiosity Shop. Special appearance by Mr. Charles Dickens himself at the 4:30pm performance Friday, March 21!

The Peking Acrobats

The Peking Acrobats®, a troupe of China’s most gifted tumblers, contortionists, jugglers, cyclists, and gymnasts, complemented by live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments, will bring their 2,000-year-old tradition of acrobatics to North America. Celebrating twenty-eight years of aweiousome entertainment The Peking Acrobats are among the premiere Chinese acrobatic companies in the world today as they continue to redefine their ancient art form.
