Linda Hall, a local artist known for her sculpture and paintings of still life, will display her paintings in a Valencia College Art Exhibit entitled, Linda Hall: Paintings and Sculpture. The show will run from January 17th through this Friday, March 7th. The gallery is free and open to the public during the hours 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday. Summer Intensive at Central Florida Ballet
Central Florida Ballet will host a summer intensive program for dancers age 7 and up, from July 7 through August 1.
Classes are held in the Central Florida Ballet’s studios, which are equipped with sprung flooring. Students are placed in ballet groups by age and ability. Depending on their level, students can expect 3 to 7 hours of dance each day. Students will learn different dance styles and injury prevention. The number of meetings per week depends on the dancer’s abilities.

Wekiva PaintOut
Wekiva Island will host the Wekiva PaintOut from March 3 through March 8. The PaintOut will feature multiple artists each day, creating their work out in the open, in the presence of guests. The event will also host multiple events, such as tutorials or introducing new products. There will also be events and amusements that overlap at the PaintOut to ensure that there is always something going on to keep you entertained! J.S. Bach’s St. John’s Passion
Knowles Memorial Chapel will host the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park’s performance of St. John’s Passion on March 2 at 3 p.m.
The first of Bach’s great Passions, St. John’s Passion is a visceral work of raw emotion and shows Bach’s power as a composer and dramatist.
